The 2009 Club season will be Savanah's first year at Unique Performance Volleyball.Savanah is the current Bradley University assistant volleyball coach under Head Coach Sean Burdette. Savanah came to Bradley after 1 year as assistant head coach at the University of Southern Indiana. Savanah played 4 years of college volleyball at Division 1 Ohio University in Athens, OH. During her time at Ohio, Savanah helped lead the Bobcats to a 118-16 record.Parra ranks third in career assists at Ohio with 3,219 and also ranks in the top 10 in school history in career aces (127) and digs (972). She holds the top two season totals for assists at Ohio and was named the MAC Tournament MVP in 2005 and later helped to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in her first season as the starting setter.
A two-time second-team All-MAC selection she earned honorable mention AVCA All-Region recognition as a junior and senior and was second in the NCAA in assists per game as a junior. |
